Production times begin when we receive a signed proof of your approved artwork. Our production schedule is very busy during holidays, so we encourage you to plan ahead whenever possible.

The average lead times are listed below and may vary based on your level of customization.

100-250 Candles: 2-3x weeks

250-500 Candles: 2-3x weeks

500-1,000 Candles: 4-5x weeks

1,000-2,500 Candles: 5-6x weeks

2,500-5,000 Candles: 6-8x weeks

5,000-10,000 Candles: 6-8x weeks

10,000+ Candles: 8-10x weeks

Custom Printed Gift Boxes, Custom Matchboxes and Custom Wood Lids require a minimum 5+ week lead time.

Custom Pantone Color Glass requires a minimum 6+ week lead time

If you are unsure about meeting a deadline, please contact us for an estimated ship date. Production time does not include transportation time, however, we offer Expedited Shipping options at cost.

Yes! All custom candle collections include complimentary design services, and the designer assigned to your project will gather your artwork elements (branding/logos/inspiration) then prepare digital mockups of your artwork for review, revisions and approval.

Spark Candles does not offer order fulfillment or dropshipping services at this time. 

We offer direct to client/employee shipping for bulk orders across the U.S., Canada and internationally for holiday or corporate campaigns. Domestic (U.S. and Canada) shipments are offered at flat-rates, and international shipments are provided at cost.

We accept mailing lists in .xls or .csv format, and can provide the shipping template to add the individual shipping addresses.

Spark Candles are hand poured with only all-natural waxes, and no paraffin.

Our all-natural waxes are pure soy, pure soy/coconut, as well as soy/beeswax, coconut/beeswax and pure beeswax options for our custom candle molds and taper candles.

Yes, we offer special-sources and client-supplied vessel styles. If your project requires a specific look, size or style that isn't available in our Order Online Collection (link) our studio can absolutely source the style for you, or pour your collection using vessels you supply. The minimum order quantity for these kinds of projects is 250-500+ units per SKU (design/scent).

Spark Candles are hand poured in our downtown Toronto and South Florida design studios.

For U.S. clients, your candles are made in the U.S.A., and for Canadian clients, your candles are made in Canada. For international clients, you can choose between our U.S. and Canadian studios.

Yes, you can submit print-ready artwork using your own design at no charge. Your account rep will help provide artwork specs based on your vessel and project. 

General Custom Artwork Specs:

Submit print-ready artwork files as .ai, .psd, .pdf, or .jpg (hi res, minimum 300dpi)

Must be setup in CMYK

Include 1/8" bleed

Outline fonts or send font files

Minimum font size is 5.5pt

Final artwork approval is required from the client prior to going to production. Please check proof carefully. Spark Candles is not responsible for misprinted spelling of names, dates, barcodes, or color settings. 

If a specific Pantone is required, ordering a branded sample is recommended.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, all custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.

If any items are damaged during transit, please take pictures of the shipping boxes, the damaged items, and provide them within 5 business days so our team can help file a shipping claim on your behalf.

Yes, if you are in any way dissatisfied with your online purchase, we accept requests for returns and exchanges within 10 days of your retail purchase or delivery date. Products must be in original condition and returned to Spark Candles within 21 days. Once we receive the returned product, we will issue a refund. The customer is responsible for any return shipping charges.

If your candle is damaged upon delivery, please report it within 5 business days along with a detailed photo to info@sparkcandles.com and we will process a shipping claim and arrange for a replacement order as soon as possible.

Note: We do not accept returns for Custom, Wholesale, and Private Label orders.

Yes! Our expert perfumers can create a custom fragrance for your candle collection. It's a fun process where we connect on guidance and inspiration, then prepare multiple rounds of scent samples for review and revisions as we narrow down your final selection.

Yes! Our perfumers can absolutely recreate a fragrance using an existing candle or perfume for inspiration. The designer assigned to your project will gather this information ahead of developing your custom fragrance, and usually purchase the candle or perfume for guidance so our team can get started.
