Production times begin when we receive a signed proof of your digital artwork. Our average production times are 2-3x weeks for most collections of 100-500x candles, and approx. 6 weeks for custom color glass styles and custom printed gift boxes. Specialized projects and orders exceeding 1,000-5,000+ candles could take 8+ weeks. There are rush production and expedited shipping options, and if you have a hard deadline or a specific in-hand date, please let us know and we'll make sure you receive your candles in time.
Yes, the minimum order quantity for most customizable candle styles is 100 units+ per SKU (style/scent)
Some specialty styles, such as our Custom Color Glass or Special Sourced Vessel styles have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 250-500+ units.
Our pricing tiers are based on volume, and the higher the quantity, the lower the price per unit.
Yes, all bulk orders of customizable candles include complimentary design services. The designer assigned to your project will gather your elements (branding guidelines, logos, project details) and prepare digital artwork mockups for review and revisions ahead of production.
Yes, our studio is a full-service contract candle manufacturer, and creates fully branded candles for our clients with their logos, designs and branding and no Spark branding.
Yes, our studio designs and creates custom packaging for almost any project, including custom printed boxes, custom mailer boxes, custom boxes in unique shapes, 2-piece boxes, and large multi-pack gift boxes. Spark Candles does not offer order fulfillment or dropshipping services at this time.
We offer direct to client/employee shipping for bulk orders across the U.S., Canada and internationally for holiday or corporate campaigns. Domestic (U.S. and Canada) shipments are offered at flat-rates, and international shipments are provided at cost.
We accept mailing lists in .xls or .csv format, and can provide the shipping template to add the individual shipping addresses.
Spark Candles are hand poured with only all-natural waxes, and no paraffin.
Our all-natural waxes are pure soy, pure soy/coconut, as well as soy/beeswax, coconut/beeswax and pure beeswax options for our custom candle molds and taper candles.

We offer special-sourced and client-supplied vessel styles. If your project requires a specific look, size or style that isn't available in our Order Online Collection (link) our studio will source the style for you, or pour your collection using vessels you supply. The minimum order quantity for these kinds of projects is 250-500+ units per SKU (design/scent).
Yes — Spark Candles offers fully personalized photo candles. You can upload your photo, add a custom message, and choose from over 50 signature fragrances to create a unique gift for birthdays, memorials, bridesmaids, weddings, or special occasions.

For U.S. clients, your candles are made in the U.S.A., and for Canadian clients, your candles are made in Canada. For international clients, you can choose between our U.S. and Canadian studios.
We have 50+ Signature Fragrance options available for our clients, which are clean burning without any parabens or phthalates. We use both naturally-derived and lab-derived formulations that are vegan, and free of any toxins and hormone disrupters.
Yes, our perfumers create custom fragrances from scratch for our clients with our library of more than 1,000+ individual scent notes. It's a fun process where we touch base on guidance and inspiration, then prepare and ship you multiple rounds of scent samples for review, connecting for feedback and revisions as we narrow down your final selection. Most custom fragrances are developed in 2-3x and about 4x weeks.
Yes, you can submit print-ready artwork using your own design at no charge. Your account rep will help provide artwork specs based on your vessel and project.
General Custom Artwork Specs:
Submit print-ready artwork files as .ai, .psd, .pdf, or .jpg (hi res, minimum 300dpi)
Must be setup in CMYK
Include 1/8" bleed
Outline fonts or send font files
Minimum font size is 5.5pt
Final artwork approval is required from the client prior to going to production. Please check proof carefully. Spark Candles is not responsible for misprinted spelling of names, dates, barcodes, or color settings.
If a specific Pantone is required, ordering a branded sample is recommended.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, all custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.

If any items are damaged during transit, please take pictures of the shipping boxes, the damaged items, and provide them within 5 business days so our team can help file a shipping claim on your behalf.

Customers in the U.S. and Canada enjoy all-inclusive pricing, with no hidden fees, shipping costs, tariffs, or brokerage. Stateside client collections are hand poured in the USA, and Canadian client collections are hand poured in Canada.
For international orders, we can provide cost-effective shipping options, and some countries may charge added fees such as VAT taxes.

Yes, if you are in any way dissatisfied with your online purchase, we accept requests for returns and exchanges within 10 days of your retail purchase or delivery date. Products must be in original condition and returned to Spark Candles within 21 days. Once we receive the returned product, we will issue a refund. The customer is responsible for any return shipping charges.
If your candle is damaged upon delivery, please report it within 5 business days along with a detailed photo to info@sparkcandles.com and we will process a shipping claim and arrange for a replacement order as soon as possible.

The designer assigned to your project will gather this information ahead of developing your custom fragrance, and usually purchase the candle or perfume for guidance so our team can get started.
