Collaborate with our perfumers and develop a custom candle fragrance that’s uniquely yours.
Using our library of 1,500+ premium fragrance notes, our perfumers will create, refine, and perfect your signature blend through a guided sampling process.
All fragrances are clean-burning, cruelty-free, vegan, and formulated without phthalates or parabens.
The Custom Fragrance Process
Step 1 — Share Your Vision
Tell us about your brand, inspiration, mood, or scent direction. Our perfumers will create your first round of custom blends based on your guidance.
Step 2 — Receive Your Samples
We’ll ship you 6x custom 1oz Gold Tin candle samples to experience in person. Most first-round samples ship within 2–3 weeks.
Step 3 — Refine Your Fragrance
Share your feedback with our team (ex. “more sandalwood,” “less citrus,” “warmer overall”, “add a spice”). We’ll adjust the blends and ship your next round of samples.
Step 4 — Approve Your Final Scent
Once you’ve selected your final fragrance, we move forward with production of your fully branded candle collection using your custom fragrance.

- 1oz Tin Candle samples have a softer scent throw than full-size candles. For the best experience, smell them while unlit, or lit in a small space.

Is it a one-time development fee?
Yes, there is a one-time fee per custom fragrance created. There is no additional fee for future orders using your same blend.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Most custom fragrances are finalized in 2-3x rounds of samples in approx. 6x weeks. Additional rounds may incur an extra fee. If you're unsure about which notes are right for your project, our perfumers can help recommend oils or complementary notes to enhance your blends.
Can I supply my own fragrances?
Yes, if you'd like to develop a custom candle collection using client-supplied fragrances, please reach out to our studio: Submit a Custom Request

Custom printed gift boxes, matchboxes and wood lids require a minimum 5 week lead time.
Custom Pantone Color Glass requires a minimum 6 week lead time.

We offer bulk mailing service to individual households for holiday or corporate campaigns. The price depends on the shipped weight and dimensions, as well as the quantity and destination.

Yes, if you are in any way dissatisfied with your online purchase, we accept requests for returns and exchanges within 10 days of your retail purchase or delivery date. Products must be in original condition and returned to Spark Candles within 21 days. Once we receive the returned product, we will issue a refund. The customer is responsible for any return shipping charges.
If your candle is damaged upon delivery, please report it within 5 business days along with a detailed photo to info@sparkcandles.com and we will process a shipping claim and arrange for a replacement order as soon as possible.
