Custom Candles: Wedding Favours, Corporate Gifts, Private Label
Is there a minimum order size for custom candles?
The minimum order size for custom candles is 100 units.
Some specialty packaging components, such as a custom glass colour or screen printed design have a 500 unit minimum and will be clearly stated on the product page.
Our pricing tiers are based on volume, and the higher the quantity, the lower the price per unit.
Our full-service Design Studio can help add your logo and custom message to the label or you can submit print-ready artwork using your own design.

What is the production time for custom candle orders?
Lead time begins when we receive a signed proof for artwork approval. Our production schedule is very tight during peak holidays and lead times are longer than usual during Covid.
The average lead times are listed below and vary based on your level of customization.
1-49 Candles: 1-2 weeks
50-249 Candles: 3-4 weeks
250-499 Candles: 4-5 weeks
500-999 Candles: 5-6 weeks
1,000-2,499 Candles: 6-8 weeks
2,500-5,000 Candles: 10-12 weeks
5,000-10,000+ Candles: 12-16 weeks
Custom printed gift boxes, matchboxes and wood lids require a minimum 4 week lead time.
Custom Coloured Glass + Screenprinted Design requires a minimum 8 week lead time.
If you are unsure about meeting a deadline, please contact us for an estimated ship date. Production time does not include transportation time. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
*Rush orders depend on schedule availability and incur a rush fee.
Do you offer fulfillment or dropshipping services?
Spark Candles does not offer order fulfillment or dropshipping services at this time.
We offer bulk mailing service to individual households for holiday or corporate campaigns. The price depends on the shipped weight and dimensions, as well as the quantity and destination.
Please submit a Bulk Quote Request and include additional notes about your direct mailing campaign. We accept mailing lists in .xls or .csv format setup with appropriate column headers.
Can I sample the Signature Scent Blends before placing an order?

Can I order a sample candle?
Yes! Sample candles can be purchased online at the regular retail rate.
If you would like to order a branded sample candle, custom mockups start at $195 each and vary based on the product and level of customization. Please contact a Spark team member to process your custom sample request.
To sample our Signature Scent Blends, we offer a Welcome Pack with your choice of 12x 1oz sample candles.

Can I submit a custom artwork design?
Yes, you can submit print-ready artwork using your own design at no charge. Your account rep will help provide artwork specs based on your vessel and project.
General Custom Artwork Specs:
Label dimensions can be found on your personalized quote.
Submit print-ready artwork files as .ai, .psd, .pdf, or .jpg (hi res, minimum 300dpi)
Must be setup in CMYK
Include 1/8" bleed
Outline fonts or send font files
Minimum font size is 5.5pt
Final artwork approval is required from the client prior to going to production. Please check proof carefully. Spark Candles is not responsible for misprinted spelling of names, dates, barcodes, or color settings.
If a specific Pantone is required, ordering a branded sample is recommended.
Can you create a design for us?
Yes, we have a wide selection of custom label designs available that can be personalized with your special details or company logo.
Additional design services are available including assistance with file setup starting at $50. Submit a Custom Quote Request with more details and we can provide an estimate for your project.

Do you accept returns for custom orders?
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, all custom orders are final sale and non-refundable. Please check spelling for your custom message and names very carefully when placing the order.

Upon delivery, please inspect inventory for any damages during transit and report it within 5 business days along with detailed photos to process a shipping claim.
Which payment methods do you accept for custom and wholesale orders?
We accept bank transfer, wire transfer and all major credit cards*.
Note: All wholesale and custom orders must be paid in full upon placing the order.
Inventory changes daily and we are unable to reserve materials without paid order confirmation.
*There is a 3% processing fee for credit card transactions over $1,200.
How much is shipping & handling for custom and wholesale orders?
Online Retail Orders over $100+ receive Free Shipping.
For a limited time, we're offering Free Ground Shipping on all Bulk Orders to a single location within the contigous US and Canada. You can find more details on your personalized quote.

What if there's a typo on my label?
Please select your label style and check names and spelling very carefully.
Orders of less than ten candles will not receive a proof prior to going to production.
Bulk orders will receive a pdf proof for approval or revisions prior to going to production.
All custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.
If you realize a typo, please notify us immediately by email. If the order was already approved and has gone to production, there will be a reprint fee and it may extend the time line.

Shipping & International Tax
How much is shipping for a one-time order?
Online retail orders of $100+ automatically receive free shipping to Canada and the United States. Orders under $100 have $10 flat-rate shipping to Canada and $15 flat-rate shipping to the United States.
Bulk and custom orders will receive shipping details on their Personalized Quote.
Expedited shipping options available based on the order's weight and dimensions.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship to the United States, Canada and beyond!
Spark Candles are manufactured in Toronto, Canada and the USMCA trade agreement allows for the import of our products to the United States without tariffs.
The bulk pricing for contigous US orders includes all shipping, brokerage and sales taxes. Find more details on your personalized quote.
Will there be additional customs and import tax?

Returns and Refunds
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
Yes, if you are in any way dissatisfied with your online purchase, we accept requests for returns and exchanges within 10 days of your retail purchase or delivery date. Products must be in original condition and returned to Spark Candles within 21 days. Once we receive the returned product, we will issue a refund. The customer is responsible for any return shipping charges.
If your candle is damaged upon delivery, please report it within 5 business days along with a detailed photo to info@sparkcandles.com and we will process a shipping claim and arrange for a replacement order as soon as possible.
Note: We do not accept returns for Custom, Wholesale, and Private Label orders.

We are an e-commerce company and do not have a retail storefront.

Discounts and Promotions
How many discounts can be used per order?
Discounts cannot be combined. Only one discount can be applied per order.
Promo codes cannot be combined with automatic discounts during checkout (ex: Buy One, Get One Free)
For bulk orders, the greater savings between the promo code or bulk tier will apply.
Gift Cards
How do I redeem a gift card?
You can redeem the value of a gift card by entering its unique code at checkout.
Gift cards can be used for multiple purchases providing there is a remaining balance on the card.
If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, you will be prompted to choose a second payment method for the balance before placing the order.
Can a gift card be used more than once?
Yes, provided there is still a balance remaining on the card.
Are you going to mail me a physical gift card?
No, we offer electronic gift cards only. The email address used at checkout will receive the order confirmation email along with the gift card number and balance. That email can then be printed or forwarded to the recipient with a personal message.
Can more than one gift card be used towards a purchase?
Yes. You can redeem multiple gift cards during checkout.
Can a gift card be used to pay for shipping and taxes?
Yes, gift cards are applied to the final order total which includes shipping and taxes.
Can gift cards be used in conjunction with a discount code?
Yes, gift cards are a form of payment.
Can a gift card be used as payment for a Monthly Membership?
No, gift cards cannot be used to pay for a recurring subscription.
What if I lost my gift card?
Gift cards are issued electronically and sent to the email address used at checkout.

If a gift recipient loses their gift card number, we can resend an email with the card details and current balance to the original customer on file.
